Your leaders already have potential. We help them use it.

Most leadership programmes hand out frameworks and hope for the best. We work differently: side by side with your executives, inside the actual challenges they face, until the change sticks.

Why most leadership development falls flat

What we keep hearing

Senior teams sit through two-day workshops, collect a binder of slides, and return to the same habits by Wednesday. Feedback surveys say the event was "inspiring," yet nothing changes in how decisions get made, conflicts get resolved, or strategies get executed. The gap between knowing and doing grows wider.

Promotion into leadership roles often happens without any structured support. A brilliant engineer or sales director suddenly manages twelve people with no preparation beyond a half-day induction. The cost shows up in attrition, missed targets, and quiet disengagement.

What we do instead

We embed inside your organisation for weeks, not hours. Every engagement starts with confidential one-to-one interviews across the leadership team so we understand the real dynamics, not the org-chart version. From there we design a programme around your specific friction points: the recurring meeting that derails, the cross-functional handoff that nobody owns, the strategic priority that keeps slipping.

Each leader receives a personal development plan with concrete behaviours to practise, measured against outcomes you care about: retention numbers, project delivery timelines, 360-degree feedback scores taken before and after.

Four ways we work with you

Executive team alignment

A six-to-twelve week programme for senior leadership teams of four to ten people. We facilitate working sessions around your live strategic challenges, surface unspoken tensions, and build shared decision-making protocols your team actually follows. Typical outcome: faster strategic execution and fewer circular debates.

One-to-one coaching

Fortnightly coaching sessions over three to six months, designed for newly promoted leaders or experienced executives navigating a significant transition: a merger, a restructure, a new market entry. Sessions run 75 minutes each, with between-session assignments tied to real work.

Leadership workshops

Half-day or full-day sessions for groups of fifteen to thirty managers. Topics include giving difficult feedback, leading through ambiguity, and running effective cross-functional projects. Each workshop includes role-play with real scenarios drawn from your organisation, not generic case studies.

Organisational diagnostics

Before committing to a full programme, some clients want an honest snapshot. We conduct structured interviews, review internal survey data, and deliver a written report within three weeks. The report identifies the two or three leadership behaviours most holding the organisation back, with specific recommendations.

From first conversation to lasting change

Discovery call

A 30-minute conversation where we listen more than we talk. We want to understand what prompted you to look for help now, what success looks like in your terms, and who the key stakeholders are.

Diagnostic phase

Confidential interviews with six to twelve people in your organisation, plus a review of any existing engagement or 360 data. This phase typically takes two weeks.

Programme design

We present findings and a proposed plan. You shape it. Nothing launches until you and your team are confident in the approach, the timeline, and the measures of progress.

Delivery and follow-through

Coaching, workshops, or team sessions run on the agreed schedule. We check in at the midpoint and adjust. Three months after the programme ends, we conduct a follow-up assessment at no extra charge.

Leadership Advantage Experts consultants collaborating on a client programme

Leadership Advantage Experts was founded by practitioners who spent years inside organisations before stepping into consulting. Our team includes former operations directors, HR leaders, and a military logistics officer. That background means we understand the pressure your leaders are under because we have sat in their chairs.

We are based in 47 Salma Row, West Bailey-Nader, England, OF9 6OZ and work with clients across the United Kingdom, occasionally travelling to continental Europe for multi-site engagements. Our team of five senior consultants is deliberately small. Every client works directly with a principal consultant, never a junior associate running someone else's slides.

We hold accreditations with the International Coaching Federation and the Chartered Management Institute, and our diagnostic tools draw on validated psychometric instruments rather than proprietary quizzes.

Things clients ask before they start

How long does a typical engagement last?
Most programmes run between eight and sixteen weeks. One-to-one coaching relationships sometimes extend to six months. We agree the duration upfront and review at the midpoint, so you are never locked into a timeline that no longer fits.
What size organisation do you work with?
Our clients range from 50-person professional services firms to divisions within FTSE 250 companies. The common thread is a leadership team of roughly four to fifteen people who need to work together more effectively. We are not a good fit for sole-trader coaching or organisations looking for a motivational keynote speaker.
Do you work remotely?
One-to-one coaching sessions work well over video. Team alignment programmes and workshops are far more effective in person, so we travel to your site for those. Diagnostic interviews can be conducted either way depending on participant preference.
How do you measure results?
We agree on specific metrics at the start: 360-degree feedback scores, employee engagement survey results, project delivery timelines, or whatever matters most to you. We take a baseline measurement before the programme begins and repeat it afterwards. The three-month follow-up assessment is included in every engagement.
What does it cost?
Pricing depends on the scope: number of participants, programme length, and travel requirements. A standalone diagnostic report starts at £4,500. A full executive team alignment programme typically falls between £18,000 and £35,000. We provide a detailed proposal after the discovery call so there are no surprises.
